Cuyahoga County’s Literacy Dashboard: 2020 Update

In December 2019, The Literacy Cooperative released a Literacy Dashboard for Cuyahoga County. On Wednesday, December 16, 2020, join Bob Paponetti, President & CEO, and Laureen Atkins, VP of Strategic Initiatives, of The Literacy Cooperative to learn about the results of two different surveys that provide insight into the state of literacy for adults and children in Cuyahoga County.

Learn about the results from a recent survey of Dolly Parton Imagination Library families and how the delivery of books to their homes is changing family reading habits and instilling a love of books and reading in children.  Earlier this year, the Programme for the International Assessment of Adult Competencies (PIAAC) released state and county data for its Survey of Adult Skills, which measures proficiency in literacy, numeracy, and problem-solving.  Review the data and infographics comparing Cuyahoga County to the Nation, the State, and other comparable counties. Preview our deeper dive into the data to find solutions in terms of workforce development and career pathways.
