Does Cuyahoga County Have A Literacy Crisis?

Despite encouraging progress made through the collaborative efforts of literacy programs, funders, and public officials, too many young adults and young children in Cuyahoga County are unprepared for the future.

Join us to discuss the State of Literacy in our community as well as to learn about key indicators that are showing promise.  Hear first hand from Margo Hudson, a GED graduate and adult education tutor, about her personal  journey in advancing her education, giving back to the community, and even her national recognition.  Listen to our panel of experts discuss current county-wide data and what needs to happen to change future outcomes.  The Literacy Cooperative will explain their newly released literacy dashboard publication and the annual updates that are intended to catalyze more effective strategies and actions to elevate literacy in our county.  This is current information and data you can use!
