Right to Literacy Rally

Monday, August 9, 2010

12:00 - 1:00 p.m.

LOCATION
Cleveland Public Library (main branch)

The Eastman Reading Garden
(325 Superior Ave.)

The Instructors' Learning Network and The Cleveland Public Library invite you to sign your name to the Declaration for the Right to Literacy that has been journeying around the country! The scroll will be making a brief stop in Cleveland, on its way to the White House.

The Declaration for a Right to Literacy was born at a "Right to Literacy" convention held in Buffalo last year. The Literacy Scroll has been signed by thousands of people and will be presented to President Obama in September 2010.

Everyone interested in participating in the rally is encouraged to wear something green to show support for ADVANCING LITERACY FOR ALL.
