DESCRIPTION

You provide an essential service to the community; however you may not be reaching those who need it most. This day will provide an opportunity to learn how to craft a message that can be understood by people of all literacy levels by using plain language in your writing.

 

Plain language is a way of communicating clearly and effectively.  It is a powerful tool when trying to reach clients who:may not understand the scope and content of your services, andhave limited English or reading skillsWorkshop participants will learn how to plan, write, design, and assess materials.
